Steve (ATC Steve) Heath

Steve Heath, Chris's husband, was the first to discover ASMI in a magazine article, and instantly recognized it as a very worthwhile program, and a perfect opportunity for Chris to share her desire to help people. He surprised himself by becoming just as enthused by the program, and has trained as an assistant instructor. His background as an Air Traffic Controller has taught him quick thinking, stress management and "multi-tasking", all very useful qualities for bystander assistance training. As a matter of fact, he has become so involved in the program that he is now planning to train as an EMT, so that he, too, can be a Lead Instructor.
